I've been bookmarking Halloween craft ideas like crazy these past few weeks and some new ones caught my eye today. They appeal to me because they use one of my favorite Halloween treats: candy corn. Check out the clever candy corn wreath from The Magic of Ordinary Things. Love those spindly branches!
She got her inspiration from the candy corn tree at Lolly Jane Boutique, another great idea at a bargain price:

By far my favorite is the elaborate candy corn wreath from Woman's Day. I doubt I'll ever get around to making this because of all of the work involved, but I quite like the way it looks. What a nice way to celebrate one of the sweetest treats of the season!

Of course, if you do decide to use candy as a decoration you'll want to check out Woman's Day's helpful tips on how to preserve and protect your edible creation.
For today's photo you can see my stash of British candy bars, nicely sorted alphabetically. Yes, I really am that weird. And they really are that delicious.

Thanks for featuring my crazy wreath, and definitely thanks for the heads up on the preservation. I might implement it if I make another one next year.
I am a fan of British candy bars, too. My son spent his semester abroad in London. The candy bars he brought home were the biggest hit! Ever since, we have been trying to find them here in the states.
I love the Woman's Day wreath too but it would be too much work. I do however think the top wreath is quite doable :)
