Because of my week-long Thanksgiving trip with limited internet access I'm way behind on posting my photo a day entries here on my blog. Prepare yourself for a week's worth of photos all in one fell swoop. Some are better than others but overall I'm pleased with some of the shots I took while on vacation. It was nice to get out of the house and out of NJ to take some pictures that are a little different from my usual.
The first photo is a straggler from the glass-themed week but for the rest the theme was "texture." Because I was in rural Virginia I was able to find a lot of inspiration simply by looking outside at the beautiful landscape and old buildings.

Oh, I really like all your texture photos, but that one with the water is pretty amazing. At first I thought the tree was coming out of the water & the bottom part of it was the reflection, but now that I look closer, I guess it's not a reflection. Or is it? I'm all confuse now the more I look at it! Regardless, I really like it.
Those are all amazing! I would have to say that the first one is my favorite. I love the subject as well as the effects used.
I cannot choose a favorite of the textures. They are all wonderful. You do have an eye for this stuff. Great work!
